Hello
Ladies
Thanks to
everyone who came to our Christmas morning and lunch today. The IWA Choir
were in fine voice and sang all the old favourites (well mine, anyway) to
much applause. Plus we were very happy to have Mr Balan from Ramakrishna
Ashrama to say a few words. The children of this orphanage will be the
recipients of this year?s Shoebox Appeal. Thanks to everyone who made a
shoebox. Thanks also to Irene Grigson, Karen Gillanders and Sue Watts for
kindly making the Christmas cakes for this year?s Christmas morning.

Looking for English teachers for the Ramakrishna Ashrama
We're looking for more English
teachers to help teach children (Indian, 9-13 yrs old) at the Ashrama
Ramakrishna (an orphanage on Scotland Rd.). We need a back-up teacher to
provide continuity ASAP. If you have teaching experience, that would be
great, but the main thing is a willingness to let the children practice
speaking English. If you can help, please call Sandie Lenton on 899 4055 or
016 555 1950 or email on
